LIGHTWEIGHT STRUCTURE
Lightweight construction, Fiber cement boards:
Modern technology that allows the construction of three-dimensional modules, using flat sheet elements (Eterboard®), corrugated and curved corner elements of reinforced cement, assembled together, using fixing elements and vertical and horizontal tie straps.
The system allows for the characterization and regionalization of housing designs in urban and rural types, for warm or cold climates, isolated or semi-detached, according to the needs and requirements of the project.
Features:
Versatile
It offers the designer great flexibility in terms of shapes and designs. It adapts to any shape or dimension.
Thermal and acoustic insulation
It provides optimal sound and heat insulation. Furthermore, these insulators, such as fiberglass, are also fire-retardant.
Quick installation
It is said to be 5 to 8 times faster to place than traditional methods.
I save time and money
Lightweight construction offers many savings in construction, time, personnel, transportation, materials, tools, and ultimately, waste.
Ceilings
Due to their fire and moisture resistance, as well as their versatility in finishes, Eterboard panels are ideal for suspended and continuous-joint ceiling applications. For nailed and suspended ceilings, 4 mm thick Eterboard panels are recommended. For continuous-joint ceilings (either concealed or invisible), 6 mm thick panels are generally recommended, and 8 mm thick panels are recommended for large-scale ceilings.
Walls and Facades
Eterboard fiber cement boards can be used to construct all types of walls, such as partitions, load-bearing walls, parapets, etc. They are suitable for both new construction and renovations, and the installation process is simple, clean, and quick, facilitating the passage of plumbing, electrical, and sanitary installations, as well as for maintenance or repairs.
Due to their mechanical resistance and moisture resistance, as well as their low weight and ease of installation, Eterboard fiber cement boards are ideal for use on facades, both floating and confined.
Roof Bases
Another highly competitive application of the Eternit dry construction system is roof bases. Their low weight and ease of installation simplify this application, making them ideal for all types of roof finishes, from traditional clay tiles and asphalt shingles to more modern and sophisticated roof finishes such as PVC membranes.
Mezzanines
The most competitive applications of the Eterboard dry construction system are for mezzanine floors; thanks to the strength and low weight of the Eterboard fiber cement boards, resulting in mezzanine floors with high load-bearing capacity in both new construction and renovations in a simple and quick way, without the need to reinforce the structures or foundations.
